This post tracks the progress of the production of my front cover for my magazine, The Base. As you can see, alot of changes were made to my front cover, and many I think were for the better. The main change made was the colour scheme, I initially chose to use blue as the predominant colour however I felt black was much stronger and had a better contrast with red although blue is opposite red on the colour spectrum. Also, the use of gradient for the background colour was not working effectively and one solid colour had a greater visual effect.
